Do you have a day that you have put of for active rest day? An active rest day is a day were you do low to moderate exercise that gets your heart rate up without going above 65% of your maximum heart rate. So stretching, hiking, walking, yoga, a trip on the bike etc. It’s a day for your body to recover and to prevent injuries. It does not mean being a coach potato!
I did yoga, and I took a long and good walk in the sun.
Remember yoga is not supposed to hurt. If a pose hurt, please moderate. Move your leg, or hands. Listen to your body.
“Open your hip yoga” 15 minutes
“Yoga for runners” 9 minutes
Have a great Saturday! Thank you for stopping by!
