Okra is a vegetable used in South and North American,Greek, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Indian, Caribbean and Asian cooking, but in different ways.
What is okra?
Okra is actually a plant that has edible pods, which have an elongated, lanterned shape. On the inside there are rows of tiny seeds. If these seeds are not removed before cooking, the okra turns slimy.
Its loaded with nutrients, and have a lot of dietary fiber, minerals and vitamins (vitamin A,C, K, folates, B-complex group and much more).
