Stretch marks is maybe something that pops up in your head when you find out that you are pregnant. Some say that it is in your genes if you get it or not. But it can be prevented, or minimized. By “buttering” up, why?
These marks that is left on the body comes from the skin being stretched. The hormonal changes in the body that comes with being pregnant also influences the stretch marks. You can get stretch marks every were. Boobs, stomach, arms, and thighs. If your skin is dry, and already cracked, and in “bad shape” it will be easier to get stretch marks, as dry skin cracks even more. Thing about it as a rubber band, what happens if the rubber band is bad shape and dried out, and you stretch it? It tears. And that is also what happens to the skin. So add some moisture to it, and it last longer, and it does not “tear” as bad,
When I found out that I was pregnant I bought several products with stretch marks in mind. And I can now say, that I don t have stretch marks from my pregnancy. BUT. Don’t stop using it until you are a couple of weeks after you have given birth. Stretch marks also comes from loosing weight quickly. And you loose between 5-10 kg (+/-) when you give birth. (This is something individual).
