healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
Americans eat waffles for breakfast, here in Norway it’s a lunch thing. So I figured I would try to make my own waffles, morning waffles, and see how it went. These waffles are filling, and they taste good. But still not like our traditional waffles, which also taste good ( a recipe for those will come later).
1.5 dl lean vanilla curd ( vanilje kesam)
1 dl milk ( of your choice)
5 tsp maple syrup
1 dl rye flour
1 dl buckwheat flour
1/2 dl ground flaxseeds
1/4 dl pumkin seeds
2 tsp shelled hems seeds
2 tsp flaxseed oil (I used a cinnamon flavored)
2 tsp maca powder (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp vanilla sugar/powder
2 tsp sesame seeds
1 cut up apple
Mix everything together in a blender so that the seeds also get ground up, and the apple.
I like mine served with a thin layer of coconut oil, and then strawberry jam
