healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)

Chocolate Green Smoothie

So this last week I have not been posting that much. On Christmas Eve my grandmother fell and broke her hip. 86 Years old and never broken a thing, and healthy as a horse. So things has been kind of upside down here lately. Been going to the hospital, taking the ferry, and spending some time with her.

And we have had storms here, tearing the coasts apart. On my way back from the hospital today I stopped at a beach, taking pictures as the wind try to knock me of my feet.

This recipe is adapted from “The healthy foodie” . It is a great way to get a lot of nutrients early in the morning.

1 Serving

The green stuff:

1/2 avocado

1 dl baby spinach leafes

1 dl oat milk( or milk of your choice)

2 egg whites

1 tsp agave nectar

The brown part:

take 1/2 of the green mix and add:

2 tsp dark cacao powder

1 tbs flax seed meal

1 tsp shelled hemp seeds (optional)

1 tangarine

1 tsp raw cacao nibs

1. Mix everything in the “green stuff” in the blender

2. Set half of the mix to the side

3. The other half: add the “brown”

4. Pour everything over in a glass, and garnish

Yummy recipe! Hope your grandmother will be well very soon. I am in Denmark for the moment, and although the weather isn’t very sunny, I guess it’s still better than what you have experienced.

Thank you so much:) We all hope so, she is a very vivid person, and she is always in good spirit, so hopefully it will go well, and heal fast. At least with the wind I feel refreshed as soon as I have poked my head out the door:) 🙂
