healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
Homemade granola is a super way to make your own breakfast cereal, and then you know what is in it. This recipe can be added or taken away things from. Add as much honey as you want, depending on how sweet you want it.
3 dl (1 1/4 cup)oats
1 dl (1/2 cup)shredded coconut(unsweetend)
1/2 dl (1/4 cup) dried cranberries ( I used “Eden Organic” which are naturally sweetend with apple juice)
1 dl (1/2 cup) raisins
1 dl (1/2 cup) chopped dried prunes
1 dl (1/2 cup)pumpkin seeds
2 dl ( 3/4 cup) almonds
1 dl (1/2 cup)flaxseeds
1 1/2 dl (5.2 oz)good oil or ghee
1/2 -1 dl (1/4 – 1/2 cup)honey
1. Pre-heat oven to 200C (400F)
2Melt the oil/ghee in a pan with the honey.
3.In a separate bowl add all the dry ingredients. Stir well and add in the fluid.
4.Spread the mixture out on your prepared baking pan.
5. Bake the granola, and stir occasionally with a spatula until the mixture is golden. For about 45 minutes.
6. Let the granola cool off. Store in a airtight container.
