Matcha Green Tea Fruit Smoothie with a twist

As you know I walk everyday. I take several walks, some long, some shorter. Saturday, my son ( on the stomach), my cat and me, took a short hike. You see my foot steps, and my cats. We walked alongs the wood, and up on a big field, were my family used to have the sheep. We walked around for a short 1hr, and ended up with a short sledding trip. My sons first:) He loves the snow. I think he is fascinated by it, thats at least how it looks.

Sunday was not that great. Walked only 2 km  (1.3 miles) strong winds and -1 c (30F) that felt like -10C (14F). Brrr. But still I shoveled some snow….

Todays recipe is inspired by “The healthy foodie” (again). I drink a lot of green tea, after my last visit to Nashville I came home with a lot of tea, from this tea shop I stopped by. Ops. And while I was in Korea I also (of course) shopped some tea.

I hope you’ll like it.Tell me what you think!

I’ve made this several times, you can switch out the mango for nectarine or some other sweet fruit.

Ingredients:

1/2 ripe avocado

2 dl (3/4 cup) yoghurt natural or turkish yoghurt

1/2 tsp green tea powder

1/2 dl (1/4 cup) pumpkin seeds

1 tsp honey or maple syrup

1 pear

1/2 ripe mango

————

Blueberries for garnish

Add everything except the blueberries and mango into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Divide the smoothie in two parts. Have chopped mango in between the layers, and save some mango for the garnish. Garnish with mango and blueberries.

Enjoy!

I hope everyone has a great Monday:)

This looks really good! I wish I could get my cats to walk with me….they do their own thing.

Haha. I thought your post the other day where your cats went for a walk with you was a single occurrence. How funny and sweet!

This smoothie looks like a wonderful start to the day, or a wonderful snack!

🙂 It happens from time to time:) The cats also lay in the hallway, and if I have the door open, the “growl” when people walk up to the door, or stand in the doorway “guard dogs” 🙂

Thank you:) Yes, it is:) 🙂 And smoothies are so simple to make:)
