A Re-Make: Pumpkin cocoa pudding

This is a quick dessert to make. I cheated with the cream and had  “cool whip”.


1 1/2 cup (4 dl) pumpkin (either canned or fresh)

2-3 tbs dates paste*

3 tbs cocoa powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp pumpkin spice

1/2 cup cream (optional)

2 oz  (65 gr) melted dark chocolate ( I used 87% dark chocolate)

Juice of 1/2 lime


1/2 mango

Whipped cream


Date paste:

12-15 pitted dates

1/4 cup (1/2 dl) water

Soak the dates for about 30 minutes in the water, before putting them in the blender and pure.


1. Mix together all the ingredients, either by hand or in blender

2. For toppings add whipped cream and mango
