healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)

Garlic & Ginger Green Beans

If you’re not a fan of green beans you should at least give these a try. I got this recipe from one of my co-workers where I volunteer. 

2-3 servings

12 oz (341 gr) fresh green beans

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1 tsp ginger, finely chopped

2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce


1) Cut the ends of the green beans. Steam the green beans to their al’dente

2) Heat up the oil in a skillet, add in the garlic and ginger

3) Add the green beans, stir for a while.

4) Add in the soy sauce and let simmer for 2-5 minutes.
