Oat granola bars

First off, a picture of the ice that we past last weekend! Yes, there is still snow and ice in Alaska.

And then off to the oat granola bars, as you might remember I made granola some time back. Here is those two different granola recipes:

Homemade Granola

Homemade Granola Part II

This time around I made bars, with not the same ingredients as the two previous recipes.

30 Servings

1/2 cup (1 dl)   softened butter

1/4 cup (1/2 dl) maple syrup

1 egg

1/4 tsp salt

1 mashed banana

1/2 cup (1 dl) plain Greek yoghurt

4 tbsp Palm sugar

1/2 cup (1 dl)  raisins

1/2 cup (1 dl) dried cranberries

1/4 cup (1/2 dl) chia seeds

1/2 cup (1 dl) sunflower seeds

1/4 cup (1/2 dl) chopped walnuts

3 cups (7 dl) quick cooking oats

1) Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C)

2) Whisk butter and maple syrup until fluffy

3)Slowly stir in egg, salt, yoghurt and banana

4) Add the remaining ingredients

5) Use a spatula and spread out the batter on a baking parchment paper

6)Bake for 45 minutes

7) Please keep an eye on the oat bars, if the edges start getting brown put a sheet of aluminum foil on top

While the oats still are hot, divide in squars

Let cool off, and put in an air tight container

Enjoy! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you found some inspiration.
