There has been an increase in natural sweeteners on the market, and people are getting more and more aware of them, and the benefits of using these compared to normal refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. Natural sweeteners are also a substitute for sugar, but a better choice then its sibling artificial sweeteners. As artificial sweeteners are chemically made, these are what they are called “natural”. Many of them has a lower GI than normal white sugar, and are therefor a good alternative. There are several of them, agave nectar, palm sugar, sukrin, yacoon syrup just to mention some.
